## About BlackForce

**Q: What is BlackForce?**
A: BlackForce is the Skill Capitalization Platform — financial infrastructure for human capital. It transforms verified tech skills into investable financial assets. BlackForce is not a bootcamp, not an edtech company, and not a training provider. It is a platform that creates a new financial asset class: investable human skill portfolios.

**Q: Who is BlackForce for?**
A: BlackForce serves three groups simultaneously: (1) Learners — Black and ethnic minority professionals seeking funded tech career training, (2) Investors — individuals and institutions seeking returns on human capital investment, and (3) Employers — organisations seeking verified, trained-ready talent with early pipeline access.

**Q: Where is BlackForce based?**
A: BlackForce Inc. is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with active hubs in London and Manchester (UK) and presence in West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana).

**Q: Who founded BlackForce?**
A: BlackForce was founded by Babatope Ebenezer Olajide, known as Manifest. He is the Founder & CEO of BlackForce Inc. and President & CEO of Manifest & Company Inc., a Salesforce Consulting Partner. He holds degrees from King's College London, Imperial College London, and the University of Cambridge, and has worked at ExxonMobil, Saipem, IBM, and Deloitte Canada.

**Q: How many graduates has BlackForce produced?**
A: BlackForce has trained over 5,000 graduates across 11 cohorts, in 6+ countries.

## Skill Capitalization

**Q: What is Skill Capitalization?**
A: Skill Capitalization is BlackForce's core model. Instead of a learner taking out a loan, an investor funds the learner's tech training. In return, the learner pays a percentage of future income above an earnings threshold, for a fixed period, once employed. This is an equity-like outcome-based contract — not debt, not a loan.

**Q: Is Skill Capitalization a loan?**
A: No. Skill Capitalization is explicitly not a loan. There is no fixed repayment schedule, no interest, and no obligation if the learner is not employed above the threshold. It is an equity-like investment in the learner's future earning potential.

**Q: What is the AI Skill Valuation Engine?**
A: BlackForce's AI Skill Valuation Engine quantifies the economic value of a learner's skill set using machine learning and labour market data. It produces a financial valuation — the projected earning potential of the trained skill set — which underpins every Skill Capitalization contract.

**Q: How is BlackForce different from Lambda School / BloomTech?**
A: Lambda School (now BloomTech) failed because their ISA model operated like a consumer loan, with no employer integration, no real skill valuation, and training disconnected from hiring. BlackForce differs through: AI-driven skill valuation, three-way investor–learner–employer alignment, employer integration from day one, and a trust infrastructure built on 11 cohorts of real graduate outcomes.

**Q: What does "Skills are Capital" mean?**
A: It means verified tech skills, when quantified and backed by employment outcomes, function as investable financial assets — just as property, equities, or commodities do. BlackForce is building the infrastructure to make this real.
