Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation terms for BlackForce programmes, financial products, study abroad, and related services.

Effective Date: February 2026. The refund terms applicable to your enrolment are those in effect at the time of your enrolment, unless otherwise agreed.

Before 25% completeUp to 50% (case-by-case)
After 25% completeNo refund

1. Overview

This Refund Policy sets out the terms for cancellations, refunds, and credits across BlackForce's education programmes, financial products, and related services. Different policies apply depending on the service type and stage of delivery.

All refund requests should be submitted in writing to BlackForce via our Contact page or at support@blackforce.co. We aim to process all refund requests within 14 business days of approval.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Programme Fee Refunds

If you cancel your enrolment before the programme start date, you are entitled to a full refund of programme fees paid, less any non-refundable registration or administration fees (if applicable).

If you cancel within the first 14 days of your programme start date (cooling-off period), you are entitled to a full refund of programme fees, less a proportionate charge for any training delivered during that period.

If you cancel after the 14-day cooling-off period but before completing 25% of the programme, you may be entitled to a partial refund of up to 50% of programme fees paid. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis and considers the training delivered, materials accessed, and resources consumed.

No refund is available after completing more than 25% of the programme. At this stage, you have received substantial training and programme resources.

Programme fee refunds do not apply to free or scholarship-funded enrolments where no fees were paid by the learner.

3. Tuition Loan Cancellations

If you have financed your programme through a BlackForce Tuition Loan, the refund and cancellation terms in your loan agreement take precedence over this general policy for the loan-funded portion of your fees.

If you cancel during the cooling-off period and a loan has been disbursed, the refunded amount will be applied to your loan balance. You are responsible for any remaining loan balance that is not covered by the refund.

Early termination of a Tuition Loan may incur administrative fees as specified in your loan agreement. Interest accrued prior to cancellation remains payable.

If BlackForce cancels a programme for any reason, all associated Tuition Loan balances will be adjusted accordingly, and you will not be required to repay loan amounts for training that was not delivered.

4. Skill Capitalization Agreements

Skill Capitalization agreements are outcome-based investment contracts. They are not programme fees and are not subject to the programme fee refund terms above.

If you withdraw from your programme before completion, your Skill Capitalization agreement may be modified or terminated in accordance with the terms of your individual agreement. You may still be liable for a portion of the investment received, depending on the stage of your programme and the terms agreed.

If BlackForce fails to deliver the programme or career services as described in your agreement, the Skill Capitalization agreement may be voided or adjusted. The specific terms and remedies are set out in your individual agreement.

Earnings share payments already made under a Skill Capitalization agreement are generally non-refundable, as they represent the agreed return on the investor's capital. Exceptions may apply in cases of material misrepresentation or error.

For full details on learner protections, income thresholds, payment caps, and hardship provisions, refer to your Skill Capitalization agreement and the Risk Disclosure document.

5. Internship & Paid Work Experience

Unpaid internships are a mandatory component of BlackForce programmes and are included in programme fees. No separate refund applies to the internship component.

Paid work experience placements are separate arrangements. If a paid placement is terminated by the employer or BlackForce for reasons beyond the learner's control, BlackForce will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative placement. No financial compensation is provided for lost earnings from a terminated placement.

If a learner is dismissed from an internship or placement for misconduct or non-performance, no refund or compensation is available.

6. Study Abroad

Study abroad programmes involve third-party costs (travel, accommodation, visa fees) that may be non-refundable once committed. Cancellation terms depend on the stage of booking:

Before booking confirmation: Full refund of study abroad fees less any non-recoverable deposits paid to third-party providers.

After booking confirmation but more than 30 days before departure: Refund of study abroad fees less confirmed third-party costs (flights, accommodation deposits, visa fees) and a 15% administration charge.

Within 30 days of departure: No refund of study abroad fees. Third-party costs are non-recoverable at this stage.

If BlackForce cancels a study abroad programme (due to safety concerns, partner withdrawal, or other force majeure events), you will receive a full refund of all BlackForce-collected study abroad fees. BlackForce will make reasonable efforts to recover third-party costs on your behalf but cannot guarantee full recovery.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all study abroad programmes.

7. UPA (University Preparatory Academy)

UPA programme fees are subject to the same refund tiers as other BlackForce programmes (Section 2), with the following additional provisions:

Parents or guardians may cancel a UPA enrolment on behalf of the student at any time. The standard refund tiers apply based on the cancellation date relative to the programme start date and percentage of delivery completed.

UPA Summer School and study abroad components are subject to the study abroad cancellation terms in Section 6.

If BlackForce determines that a UPA programme is not suitable for a specific student (on safeguarding, wellbeing, or educational grounds), BlackForce may terminate the enrolment. In such cases, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the undelivered portion of the programme.

8. BlackForce-Initiated Cancellations

If BlackForce cancels a programme, event, or service for any reason (including insufficient enrolment, instructor availability, or force majeure), you will be offered either a full refund of fees paid for the cancelled service or the option to transfer to an equivalent programme or future cohort.

If BlackForce significantly changes a programme (including duration, delivery format, or scope) after your enrolment, you may cancel and receive a full refund if the changes are materially different from what was advertised at the time of enrolment.

BlackForce is not liable for costs incurred by you as a result of a cancellation, including travel, accommodation, or lost earnings, except where required by applicable law.

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

Certification exam fees paid to third-party certification bodies (Salesforce, CompTIA, IIBA, etc.) once an exam has been scheduled or attempted.

Materials, licences, and software subscriptions purchased on your behalf where the provider does not offer refunds.

Administration or registration fees explicitly identified as non-refundable at the time of enrolment.

Late payment fees, interest charges, or penalty fees incurred under financial agreements.

Mentorship session fees for Book-a-Mentor sessions that have been delivered.

10. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, submit a written request to BlackForce including: your full name, programme name, enrolment date, reason for cancellation, and the refund amount requested.

Requests can be submitted via the Contact page, by email to support@blackforce.co, or by post to our registered address.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days. A decision will be communicated within 14 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval, to the original payment method where possible.

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate by writing to the BlackForce programme director. If the matter is not resolved, you retain the right to pursue the matter through the dispute resolution process in our Terms of Service or through applicable consumer protection channels.

11. Changes to This Policy

BlackForce may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment applies to your programme. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.

Updated policies apply to new enrolments from the date of publication. Existing enrolments continue under the terms in effect at the time of their enrolment unless otherwise agreed.
